NEW AGE BEVERAGES CORPORATION FORMS PARTNERSHIP WITH
ADVANTAGE SOLUTIONS TO EXPAND US KEY ACCOUNT PENETRATION

    - Advantage Solutions, with more than120 offices nationally, manages more than $65 Billion of CPG brands
    - Agreement covers all channels to build on New Age’s recent growth with major national retail accounts

DENVER, COLORADO, October 17, 2017 – New Age Beverages Corporation (NASDAQ: NBEV) the Colorado-based leading all-natural and organic healthy functional beverage company whose brands include Xing®, Aspen Pure® Probiotic, Búcha® Live Kombucha, Marley®, and Coco-Libre® today announced the formation of a partnership with Advantage Solutions, one of the leading sales and marketing agencies in the consumer packaged goods industry.

Advantage Solutions is multi-billion-dollar enterprise with offices in over 120 cities throughout the United States calling on more than 17,000 retail accounts and conducting more than 250,000 sales calls annually. The company has unprecedented retailer access and relationships with a long track record of success, and currently represents brands that make up more than $65 Billion in retail sales. Advantage works with world class brands including La Croix, Ben & Jerry’s, Seventh Generation and others.

Joel Turner, Director of Sales for Advantage Solutions commented, “We partnered with New Age because of their full portfolio of healthy beverages that we know retailers and consumers are gravitating to more and more. New Age’s one-stop-shop approach it makes it very efficient for us to work with them, and the response from retailers to their entire portfolio has been tremendous. Their new brands are innovative and on trend and we see nothing but upside as we work with their team to expand the depth and breadth of New Age with major retailers across the US.”

New Age has been expanding key account penetration as a key priority since it was formed last year. The Company started out with less than 20,000 key accounts in 2016 in mostly the Western United States. Since that time, the firm has added more than 10 of the top 100 global grocery, mass, club and convenience retailers into its mix, including 7 Eleven, Circle K, H-E-B, Jumbo, BJ’s Wholesale, Ahold Delhaize, Loblaw’s, Sobeys and others.

Michael Cunningham, New Age’s SVP of Sales commented, “Advantage Solutions is a world class partner with embedded resources in all markets in virtually all accounts across all channels. We partnered with them because of their extensive reach, quality reputation, and the nearly 800 associates working on sales of the New Age portfolio. In September alone, New Age added 10,047 new points of distribution, many of which Advantage Solutions partnered with us to gain. None of the impact from those accounts is our Q3 numbers, but the benefit will be seen in Q4 and beyond. We have just scratched the surface in our national key account penetration, and we know that our portfolio is bang on for retailers and consumers as they increasingly switch to healthier choices.”

Since uplisting to the NASDAQ exchange in Q1 2017, New Age has completed a number of additional acquisitions, significantly strengthened its financial platform, and established a brand portfolio competing all in the growth categories of the beverage industry. The Company’s one-stop-shop strategy of providing a portfolio of healthy functional beverage brands for retailers and distributors has led to New Age becoming one of the top 10 healthy beverage companies in the world. On its newly acquired brand platforms, New Age has developed Marley Mate, a yerba mate beverage; PediaAde, a children’s rehydration beverage; and Aspen Pure Probiotic, the world’s first probiotic water. New Age is rolling these products out now and is also launching innovative new offerings under its Xing and Coco-Libre brands in the 4th quarter. Significant investments have been made behind these initiatives in Q3 that are expected to contribute to above expectations performance on a full year basis in 2017 and provide a larger base from which to drive further growth in 2018.

Aspen Pure Probiotic Water contains 80% of these as listed below.

Aspen Pure Probiotic Water – 12 Strains Defined

    Lactobacillus-Acidophilus

Your body's intestinal microflora includes probiotic bacteria such as Lactobacillus Bulgaricus and Lactobacillus Acidophilus, which often work as a team to take in raw materials, both helping to sort the useful versus harmful substances that you eat. Lactobacillus also serves your internal digestive factory as an agent that converts lactose to lactase, competes with harmful bacteria for nutrients, and produces as a byproduct some helpful antibacterial substances that promote a healthy environment for the GI tract.

    Lactobacillus Rhamnosus

    Helps Fight Intestinal Tract Illnesses

According to studies published by Goldin and Gorbach, L. rhamnosus is said to be able to survive the highly acidic conditions of the human stomach, as well as the intestinal tract. It is also believed to be bile-stable. (2) This makes the probiotic highly desirable in its ability to conquer intestinal ailments.

    Lactobacillus Salivarius

Beneficial resident of the small intestine and mouth.

During metabolic functions, the bacteria produce enzymes that are toxic to undesirable bacteria.

    Lactobacillus Casei

Lactobacillus casei, more commonly referred to as L. casei, is a harmless, nonpathogenic microorganism that has been widely recognized for the attributes and properties it possesses that have been found to be beneficial to the human body. L. casei is a type of bacteria that helps protect the human body from disease and illness by restricting the growth of various types of harmful bacteria that cause infection and be detrimental to an individual's health.

    Lactobacillus Plantarum

Along with promoting normal digestive health, Lactobacillus plantarum has been shown to be an effective treatment for irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), Crohn's disease, and colitis. It has the ability to destroy pathogens and to preserve critical nutrients, vitamins, and antioxidants. It has also shown the rare ability to produce L. lysine, a beneficial amino acid. One of the most exciting uses for Lactobacillus plantarum involves using it to deliver therapeutic compounds and proteins to the body.

    Lactobacillus-Lactis

    L. lactis is an ideal candidate for probiotic use because it supports the function of other Lactobacillus organisms, taking on some of the general workload, thereby enabling the other probiotic agents to focus more specifically on specialty functions at which they are most effective at treating.

Lactobacillus lactis colonizes the GI tract by inhibiting the growth and proliferation of pathogenic bacteria. This probiotic is frequently taken by those diagnosed with chronic Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) like ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s Disease.

    Bifidobacterium Bifidum

Among the most ferocious warriors in this army of advantageous microbes is a type of probiotic called bifidobacterium bifidum, which inhabits the colon and vagina. Its job is to maintain the micro flora balance within the intestines, control the increase of detrimental bacteria, bolster the immune system, and aid in the digestive process.

    Bacillus-Lactis

Bifidobacterium Lactis is a very powerful transient probiotic bacteria. Scientific studies have proven that B. Lactis enhances immunity, fights tumor growth, improves digestion and can lower cholesterol.

    B. animalis/lactis inhabit the intestines & the colon in great numbers. Generally, their job is to break down body waste & aid in the absorption of various vitamins & minerals

    Bacillus-Infantis

When friendly probiotics like Bifidobacterium infantis line your intestines, they break down fiber and sugars that lead to bloating, gas, and aggravate conditions like IBS. [2] And studies have shown that men and women with balanced levels of probiotic bacteria can focus and concentrate better and enjoy stronger bones, normal blood sugar, fewer allergies, and better cardiovascular health.

    B-Breve

The presence of B breve appears to inhibit E coli. B breve is also present in the vagina, where it helps to inhibit overproduction of candida albicans, also known as the primary cause of yeast infections in women.

    B-Longum

Bifidobacterium Longum has been described as one of the most significant and important types of “good” bacteria that inhabits the human body. Bifidobacterium longum or B. longum is “very helpful because it maintains a normal digestive tract, inhibits the growth of harmful bacteria, and also boosts the immune system.”

    Streptococcus Thermophilus

As long ago as 1907, when Russian biologist and Nobel Prize winner Elie Metchnikoff wrote about longevity research in his book The Prolongation of Life, the bacterial strain Streptococcus thermophilus was known to promote gastrointestinal health. Streptococcus thermophilus, along with Lactobacillus bulgaricus, soon became the starter strains used to make yogurt. Today, these two probiotics are still used in the production of true yogurt.
